ProcVault Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026
The short version
ProcVault does not collect, transmit, or share any data. Everything you enter
stays on your device.

entry, with the time of signing
the app
All of this is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage.
ProcVault has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs.
Nothing you enter ever leaves your device unless you explicitly export or
share it yourself.
Images and protected health information
ProcVault is designed so that no patient identifiers should ever enter the
app:
app reminds you not to enter patient identifiers.
Apple's Vision framework and proposes black-box redactions over all
detected text, plus the banner region where imaging machines typically
burn in patient data. You review and confirm the redactions before
anything is saved.
ProcVault, and image metadata (EXIF, location) is stripped.
Automatic text detection is best-effort. **You are responsible for
verifying that no protected health information remains** in images you
save, export, or share, and for complying with your institution's policies
and applicable law (including HIPAA).
Photo library access
ProcVault uses Apple's out-of-process photo picker. The app can only access
the specific photos you select — never your full library.
Purchases
ProcVault Pro purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App
Store. ProcVault receives only an anonymous entitlement status and never
sees your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to the
transaction: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Exports and sharing
When you generate a PDF or CSV, or share an image, the file goes wherever
you choose to send it via the iOS share sheet (printer, email, files, etc.).
That transfer is under your control and outside ProcVault's storage.
Data deletion
Deleting an entry or image removes it from the app's storage. Deleting the
app removes all ProcVault data from your device. There is no server-side
copy to delete.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of ProcVault changes any of the above (for example,
optional iCloud sync), this policy will be updated and the change will be
noted in the App Store release notes before it takes effect.
